Laser Control
Chapter Contents
By regulating the time that the laser is on during each scan, the laser beam width can
narrowed to a precise arc. This is called “laser framing” and it is very useful when there
is a need to avoid highly reflective objects, to filter out unwanted signals, or to avoid
scanning the wrong symbols. In addition, the laser can be set so that it only turns on
during a read cycle.
