Usage:
DataBar Limited is best suited to laser and CCD readers. It is not recom-
mended
for omnidirectional slot scanners.
Definition:
Encodes a smaller 14-digit symbol (74 modules wide) that is not omnidirectional
.
Serial Cmd: <K483,status>
Default: Disabled
Options: 0 = Disabled 1 = Enabled
Usage: Used in the grocery, retail, and prescription drug industries where 14-digit
EAN item identification may be needed.
Definition: DataBar-14 (Reduced Space Symbology) is a fixed symbol length symbol-
ogy that encodes 14 digits, including a 1-digit indicator. DataBar-14 is 96
modules wide. It can be stacked in two rows, it can read omnidirectionally if
printed in full height, or horizontally if height-truncated for small marking.
